ABA (applied behavior analysis) is a therapy that helps people build fundamental skills and meet goals. It is tested, proven, and built on the science of behavior. It’s recommended for children with autism by the U.S. Surgeon General, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Psychological Association, and the Autism Science Foundation.

ABA is the most highly recommended therapy for individuals with autism, especially for young children. But other individuals benefit from ABA, too. Adults or teenagers with autism find ABA extremely helpful. ABA therapy can also be extremely beneficial for individuals who have ADHD, learning disabilities, mental illnesses, or addictions.

Welcome to Circle Care Services

What does the ABA therapy process look like?

Speak with a care coordinator

Call us or submit a contact form to tell us about your child and what they need. A representative from our team will call you within 24 business hours to get you started. If you’re not available when they call, they’ll follow up later. You’ll also get an email asking you to share any additional information that is needed.

Your designated intake coordinator will walk you through the process and answer all your questions. She'll contact you for documents like a formal ASD diagnosis, a therapy referral, and insurance information.

Get set up for services

We'll contact your child’s insurance to request authorization for an assessment. When your insurance approves it, we’ll send a BCBA to meet you and your child and run a behavioral assessment. The BCBA will estimate how many hours of therapy your child should receive and create a report for insurance.

Our hiring team will handpick a therapist for your child, taking personalities, schedules, and needs into account. Once we find the right therapist, your care coordinator will reach out to schedule a therapy appointment at a time that works for you — and you’ll be on your way to seeing your child achieve.

Watch your child thrive

Your child’s RBT and BCBA will collaborate with you to work on targeted, specific goals. ABA is a process, and it may take some time to see concrete results. Slowly but surely, you will watch your child reach one goal after the next and gain skills for life.

Our NJ clinic

Our clinic programs are a balanced combination of identifying what motivates your child and what’s important to you. Our ultimate goal is to intervene early, boosting their development at an early age and setting them up to be successful in a school setting.

The caring, specialized ABA therapy preschool program gives your child a strong start. Every child in our clinic gets a unique 1-on-1 ABA plan designed by behavioral therapy experts. Caring therapists work with each child throughout the day so they can achieve success. Our full-day program gives kids everything they need to thrive, with ABA, speech, and occupational therapies to build everyday skills for life. Surrounded by peers who learn together with them, kids get to develop social skills and healthy peer interaction in a supportive environment.

In-school therapy in Bergen County NJ

Did you know your child can receive ABA therapy in school? We partner with daycares and preschools throughout Bergen County to bring therapy with caring support to every child. Our BCBAs and RBTs come down during the school day to provide services in your child’s school environment.

The classroom isn’t always equipped to help children with autism succeed. Bringing behavior analysts into school brings kids cohesive support where they need it most. Our in-school programs give children access to resources typically only available through clinics or private practice providers — in the familiarity of their own daycare. With more opportunities for social interaction and peer learning, in-school ABA helps them integrate into their classes and create friendships while building academic skills.

Some local schools we partner with:

    • EPIC in Paramus, NJ

    • A Star is Rising Childcare in Bergenfield, NJ

    • Bright Future Preschool in Old Bridge, NJ

Don’t see your child’s school? Reach out. They might be a Circle Care partner school — and if not, we’re always looking to make support accessible to more children.

In-home therapy in Bergen County NJ

Getting services for your child can be convenient. Your child can receive specialized, targeted therapy in the comfort of your home, at whatever time works for you. We have therapists who can come to you throughout the morning, afternoon, or even early evening in Paramus, Ramsey, and other areas in NJ.

Kids with autism can struggle through everyday functions. Bringing their behavior therapist into your home means they build skills they’ll retain long after the sessions. Your child gets 100% every minute of therapy in their 1-on-1 sessions, giving them a personalized jumpstart to achieve more than you thought they could. With parent training and collaboration, your child will thrive on full support from every direction.
